Cancel a deal
When you can cancel a deal, how to do it, and what happens to the money.
You can cancel a deal from its page until Escrow.com has the buyer’s payment. After that, the purchase agreement sets out how the deal can end, and any money goes back to the buyer.
Cancel a deal
- Open the deal’s page from Your deals, or tap View deal in your conversation.
- Tap Cancel deal at the bottom.
- Tap Cancel deal again to confirm, or Keep deal to keep it.
The deal then says Cancelled. RoTerminal charges no fee, a listing marked Pending goes back on sale, and your conversation stays in Messages.
When you can cancel
| When | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Before Escrow.com has the payment | Either of you can tap Cancel deal. Nothing has been paid. |
| After Escrow.com secures the payment | Cancel deal no longer shows. Under the agreement, the deal can end if you both agree in writing, if the seller hasn’t started the transfer within 10 days, or if a reported problem can’t be fixed. Escrow.com then returns the payment to the buyer under its terms. |
To end a deal after payment, write to support@roterminal.co with the deal’s number, which starts with RTD. The agreement’s Termination section has the full rules.
