Mute, block or report someone

Hide posts you don’t want to see, stop someone reaching you, or report a post or conversation.

You choose whose posts you see and who can reach you. The person isn’t told when you mute, block or report them.

From a post

Tap ⋯ on someone else’s post, then pick one:

OptionWhat it does
Not interestedThe post goes, and you see fewer posts like it in For you.
MuteTheir posts and replies no longer show to you, and you get no notifications when they reply to you or mention you. They can still see your posts and message you.
BlockNeither of you sees the other’s posts. They can’t reply to your posts or message you.
Report postSends the post to RoTerminal to review.

Mute and Block show the person’s @handle, such as Mute @ana. A game’s big moment has only Not interested and Copy link.

On the profile of someone you muted or blocked, Posts says You can’t see their posts.

In Messages

Open the conversation and tap ⋯ at the top, then pick one:

OptionWhat it does
MuteNo notifications or emails from this conversation, and it doesn’t count as unread.
BlockThey can’t send you messages, and neither of you sees the other’s posts.
ReportSends the conversation to RoTerminal to review.

See Choose who can message you for Requests and who can reach your inbox.

Undo it

A block from a post and a block from Messages are the same block. To unblock someone, open your conversation with them in Messages and tap Unblock. You can’t unmute someone you muted from a post yet.

Tip: Reporting someone doesn’t hide them. To stop seeing their posts or messages, mute or block them too.
