What the checkmarks mean
A blue check means a person has a RoTerminal plan, and a gold check means a studio is on the Studio plan.
A check by a name tells you that account is on a RoTerminal plan. There are two kinds, and nothing else sits by a name.
| Check | What it means |
|---|---|
| Blue check | The person has RoTerminal Plus, Pro or Studio |
| Gold check | The studio is on the Studio plan |
Tap a check, or rest the pointer on it on a computer, to see why it’s there, like “Subscribed to RoTerminal Plus” or “On the RoTerminal Studio plan”.
Get a blue check
Every paid plan gives you one, starting with Plus. So does a seat on a team’s Studio plan, and free months you earned by inviting friends (see Earn free months by inviting friends).
Plus: A blue check by your name comes with Plus, Pro and Studio. See Plans: Free, Plus, Pro and Studio.
Get a gold check for your studio
A studio gets the gold check when someone who runs its page on RoTerminal has the Studio plan of their own. A seat on someone else’s Studio plan doesn’t count. A studio without a gold check still shows who runs it.
Good to know
- Checks come from RoTerminal’s plans. Roblox’s own verified badge doesn’t give a check here.
- Changing your name or handle pauses your blue check for 24 hours.
- Nobody can use the handle of an account with a check as their own name or handle.
- When a game’s owner shares its numbers from Roblox, the game page says so in words, Verified numbers, never with a check.
