Wave at new developers

When a developer joins RoTerminal, a post says so, with their biggest game. Wave at them with one tap to say hello. They get a notification with your name.

Wave at someone

1. Open People, then Posts.
2. Find their post. It says “Joined RoTerminal”, or the words they wrote.
3. Tap the hand under it. It turns gold.

You can also wave from the New on RoTerminal cards in For you, and from the notification that someone joined: tap Wave. To take a wave back, tap it again.

When you hear that someone joined

You get a notification when a developer joins and:

• you follow them
• you watch one of their games
• your biggest game is in the same genre as theirs (at most one of these a day)

Your first post

When you join and your games are connected, a post says you joined, with your biggest game. While you set up your account, you can write its words first. It starts with a line about your game, and you can change it to anything you like. Tap Post, or Skip to keep “Joined RoTerminal”.

If you skipped it, open your post and tap Say hello to add your words. You can add words once.

When people wave, one notification shows who: “Ana and 4 others waved at you”.
