A game’s players over time

Read a game’s player chart, pick a time range, and see every day’s numbers in History.

The chart at the top of a game’s page shows how many people were playing it at each moment, from the day we started counting it until now.

Read the chart

  • Pick a range under the chart: Live, 1H, 6H, 1D, 1W, 1M, 1Y or All. A game only shows the ranges its history covers, so a new game has fewer. Game pages open on the range you picked last.
  • To see last week’s same hours under the line, tap Compare, then Last week. See Compare games.
  • The big number is how many are playing right now. Point at the line to see any moment instead. Under the number is the change over the range.
  • Drag across the chart to measure the change between two points. On a phone, use two fingers.
  • The last number under the chart follows the range: 24h high, then Week high, Month high and Year high. On All it’s Peak, the most playing at once since we started counting it.

Show more on the chart

  • The menu under the chart, CCU at first, switches the chart to Playtime, Visits, Favorites, Likes or New players.
  • Compare, the round button with two lines, puts last week or other games on the same chart. See Compare games.
  • Events, the calendar button, marks its updates, records, icon changes and other moments on the line. Tap one to read it.
  • To share the game, tap Share at the top of its page.

How far back it goes

Most games’ history starts on Sep 27, 2026. A game we found later starts on the day we found it. See How far back our numbers go.

Every day’s numbers

  1. In Key stats on the game’s Overview, tap History.
  2. Pick 7D, 30D, 60D, 90D or All.
  3. Read the average players a day over that stretch, against the stretch before, with each day as a bar.
  4. Scroll down for a table of every day: Day, Average, Peak and Visits.

Days run midnight to midnight, New York time. A day we counted for less than about 22 hours shows how many hours we counted when you point at its average.

Studio: Daily CSV and Hourly CSV at the bottom of History download it as a spreadsheet.

How many games a day

History is on every plan once you’re signed in. You can open it on 5 games a day on Free and 25 on Plus, and on every game on Pro and Studio. Opening the same game again that day doesn’t count twice, and your own games never count.

On Free and Plus, how many you have left shows beside History’s title, like “4 of 5 left today”. When you’ve used them, tapping History shows the plans. The count starts again at midnight New York time. See How limits work.
