What a game earns

New

See about how many Robux any game makes a month, or its owner’s own number from Roblox.

Earnings, right under Key stats on a game’s Overview, shows about how many Robux the game makes a month, and how many hours people play it each day.

Monthly Robux

  • The number: Robux the game makes a month from what it sells, such as game passes and developer products, after Roblox’s cut. Beside it is what that comes to in US dollars at Roblox’s DevEx cash-out rate.
  • Estimate: our estimate, marked Estimate. It always comes with the range the real number is likely in, such as “Likely 900K–1.6M”. A wider range means we’re less sure.
  • Top Earning: its place on Roblox’s Top Earning chart, when it’s on it.
  • Not included: Roblox’s Creator Rewards, which only Roblox can see.

A game with only a few people playing has no estimate, because one sale would move it too much.

From Roblox

When a game’s owner connects their Roblox numbers, Monthly Robux shows Roblox’s own number, marked From Roblox, never our estimate. The owner decides what everyone sees: the exact number, the range it’s in, or nothing at all. When they keep it private, our estimate is hidden too.

Daily hours played

How many hours people play the game a day, on average, against the week before. We count this ourselves, and everyone can see it.

Who can see the estimate

Every plan can see the estimate. Your plan decides on how many games a day.

  • On Free and Plus, how many looks you have left today shows beside Earnings’ title, like “8 looks left”. A look is used when the estimate comes into view, and looking at the same game again that day doesn’t use another. Your looks start again at midnight New York time.
  • When you’ve used today’s looks, the estimate is hidden under a lock. Tap the lock to see the plans.
  • Signed out, sign in to get your looks.
  • Your own games never use a look. See How limits work.
  • An owner’s own number, when they choose to show it, is there for everyone.

Pro: Pro and Studio also get the Earnings column in your lists, in your Watchlist and the Terminal’s lists, to sort games by what they make.

If it’s your game

After you connect your game’s Roblox numbers, Earnings shows you your real Robux, with how our estimate compared. Under it, Visibility sets what everyone else sees:
