Estimate and Verified, what they mean
Most numbers are counted from Roblox, a few are estimates, and Verified ones are an owner’s own.
Most numbers on RoTerminal are counted: we read them from Roblox. A few are estimates, which we calculate because Roblox doesn’t share them. Verified numbers are Roblox’s own private numbers for a game, shared by its owner.
Counted
Players, visits, likes, favorites and badges, as Roblox reports them, and everything we work out from them over time: averages, peaks, ranks and changes. See How we count players.
Estimates
An estimate is close to the real number, but not exact.
| Name | What it means |
|---|---|
| Average visit | About how long a visit lasts, over a day |
| Unique players | About how many people have ever played it |
| Daily new players | About how many people played it for the first time in the past day |
| Monthly Robux, marked Estimate | About how many Robux it makes a month, always with the range it’s likely in |
| Everyone playing Roblox before Oct 1, 2026 | The line for all of Roblox before our own count began |
Verified
When a game’s owner connects their Roblox numbers, its page can show Roblox’s own numbers for it, marked From Roblox:
- Verified numbers, on its Overview: daily and monthly players, playtime, session length, Day 1, Day 7 and Day 30 retention, and how many players pay. Each rate can show its place among similar games whose owners connected theirs: Top 10%, Top 25%, Top half or Lower half. Other games’ numbers are never shown.
- Earnings: Roblox’s own Monthly Robux, as the exact number or the range it’s in.
A game never shows our estimate and its owner’s number together: once an owner connects, their number takes the estimate’s place.
Connecting shows nothing to anyone else until the owner chooses what to show. See What a game earns.
Tip: The checks beside names are about plans, not numbers. See What the checkmarks mean.
