Emails from RoTerminal
The few emails RoTerminal sends, and how to turn off message emails.
RoTerminal sends very few emails. Most news comes to Activity and, if you turn them on, as notifications on your devices.
The emails
| When it’s sent | |
|---|---|
| Sign-in code | When you sign in with your email address. The code is at the start of the subject. |
| Missed messages | When a message has waited unread for a while. |
| Deal papers | When both sides have signed a purchase agreement, and when a sale or purchase closes. The papers are attached. |
| Weekly summary | On Mondays, if you’ve added a game to My Games: interest from buyers, offers, and how its genre moved. |
Emails go to the email address on your account. Deal papers go to the email on the agreement.
Missed messages
When someone messages you and it stays unread for a while, RoTerminal emails you what they said, with a Reply button. You get at most one every few hours. With notifications on, an email only comes when a message has waited much longer. Requests and muted conversations never send emails.
To turn them off:
- Open Settings, then Notifications.
- Switch off Missed messages by email.
You can also select “Turn off message emails” at the bottom of any of these emails. To turn them back on, use the same switch.
If your account has no email address, the switch isn’t there and these emails aren’t sent.
Emails you can’t turn off
Sign-in codes come only when you ask for one. Deal papers are your records of a deal you’re part of, and the same papers are kept in Settings → Documents. The weekly summary can’t be turned off.
