Sign in with Face ID or Touch ID
New
Add a passkey to sign in with your face, fingerprint or screen lock instead of another account or a code.
A passkey lets you sign in to RoTerminal the way you unlock your device: Face ID or Touch ID on an iPhone, iPad or Mac, Windows Hello on a PC, or your fingerprint, face or screen lock on Android. It's faster than signing in with Google or an emailed code, and it works only on roterminal.co, so a fake site can't use it.
Add a passkey
- Open Settings, then Account.
- Under Sign in with, find Passkeys and tap Add.
- Tap Create a passkey.
- Confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your screen lock.
After you sign in another way, RoTerminal may offer to make one for you. Tap Create a passkey, or Not now to skip it.
If your device says "This device can't create passkeys", use another device or browser.
Sign in with your passkey
- Open the sign-in screen.
- Tap Email if the email box isn't open yet, then tap the box.
- Pick your passkey from what your device offers, and confirm.
On a device where you last signed in with a passkey, Continue with a passkey is the first button.
If your passkeys sync with iCloud Keychain or Google Password Manager, one you make on your phone also works on your other devices that use the same Apple or Google account.
See or remove your passkeys
- Open Settings, then Account.
- Beside Passkeys, tap Manage.
Each passkey shows the device it was made on, when you made it and when you last used it. Tap Remove to stop it signing you in. You can have up to 20.
Tip: "This device already has a passkey for your account" means you already have one here. Use that one to sign in.
